We understand you may be eager to locate your policy number after opting in to a benefit. There may be a few ways to locate it without reaching out to support. Check out the below steps that you should review first before reaching out to our team, which may help:

Is your benefit active yet?

When you opt in to a benefit on Ben, it’s not always active straight away. We send your enrolment to the provider, who sets up your policy. Once it’s confirmed, we’ll update your status to ‘Active’ on Ben. Until then, a policy number won’t be available. This usually happens within 30 days, and we’ll add the number to your benefit tile once it’s ready.

Have you checked your email for a welcome pack/policy documents?

Once the benefit is active, the provider may reach out to you with a welcome pack or policy documents, which will have your policy number noted. This would be sent to the email associated with your Ben account. Don't forget to check your spam/junk folder!

Is it a group policy?

Some benefits may have a group policy number, rather than individual policy numbers. Be sure to read through your benefit tile where you can usually find the group policy number, if applicable.

Have you spoken to the provider?

Sometimes, providers can assist and locate your policy over the phone/email/chat with details such as your name, date of birth or address. Upon locating you, they may be able to share the policy number with you, so you can note it for future. Contact details for the provider are usually noted on the benefit tile or documents attached to the benefit tile.
