Removing an added family member/spouse/partner from your existing benefit

You can easily remove dependants from your policy by logging into your Ben account and accessing the benefit this applies to.

By scrolling down you should see a list of dependants information listed, and any active dependants on your policy would have a tick next to their name.

You should be able to simply untick this box next to the relevant dependants, and click 'Save Changes' on the right side underneath 'Benefit Price' in order to save these and enable the changes to be actioned.

This should then take your benefit status to ‘Pending Activation’ in order to have the recent changes updated on your policy.

You may also see your salary contribution decrease to £0.00, as you no longer have active dependants on the policy so the contributions to cover single coverage comes from your employer.

Please note; You can only make these changes during the 30-day window. Outside this window, you will need to reach out to your HR Team, who will need to authorise this change before proceeding.
