The mobile number on your card is used for security checks — for example, the one-time codes you may be asked for when you view your card details or verify your card in a digital wallet. Keep it up to date so you can receive those codes. This can only be done in the Ben web app, not the mobile app.
Update your number
Log in to Ben in the web app and open Wallet.
Select your card, then select View card details (the eye icon).
Confirm it's you: enter your passcode and any verification code sent to you.
Find the text "Can't access this number? Click here to update it" and select it.
Enter your passcode again, then enter your new mobile number and save.
Your mobile number is updated.
After you change your number
Once you've changed your number, you may be asked to verify it by text message the next time you view your card details or PIN. Enter the code sent to your new number to continue. If a code doesn't arrive, check the number is correct and try again.
