When your allowances are set to expire or rollover at the the end of the month, you will receive an email from Ben reminding you to spend any remaining allowance you may have before these become lost funds!
(Depending on your allowance rules set by your admin, you can see whether your balance is set to rollover or expire monthly under your allowance balance).
Allowance renewals are always set to be done on the 1st of each month, in order to have the funds ready and available to be spent - the same rules apply to month’s where the 1st may fall on a weekend.
These may not be available straight away at midnight on the 1st of each month, as the funds do need time to be processed onto your allowance balance, meaning your renewal is likely to happen over the morning period of the 1st.
❗️Please note: If you use your Ben allowance for subscription-based services, this is something to be aware of as the money may not have renewed by the time the merchant tries to take payment for the direct debit!
