There can be multiple reasons for wanting to freeze your card. You may have lost it or you have noticed a transaction that you did not make.

If this happens, don't worry! The first step you will want to take, is freeze your card via your Ben account.

How do I freeze my card?

1. Log in to your Ben account.

2. Locate the 'Wallet' tab and select the card you wish to freeze.

3. Scroll down and select 'Show details' on the image of your card.

4. You will be prompted to enter your four digit passcode and complete 2FA. This should prompt an SMS message to your mobile device. Enter the six digit code you received via SMS.

5. You should now see your card details showing. Select 'Freeze card' on the right side.

And that is your card frozen! If you have frozen the card due to a suspicious transaction or it was stolen, please reach out to our support team via chat and we'd be happy to assist you with ordering a new card.

How do I unfreeze my card?

The steps to unfreeze your card are pretty similar! Follow the same steps above except when you get to step five, make sure you select Unfreeze card.
