What is a Linked Account?

A Linked Account is required for a client who has a GBP Company Wallet. It allows top ups/deposits to come into the GBP Company Wallet through the linked bank account.

How to create a Linked Account?

A client can have multiple linked accounts. To create a linked account, an official document from the bank is required clearly showing the account details. This should clearly show;

- Account name
- Account Number
- Sort Code
- IBAN is optional (if the Account Number and Sort Code is not available, the IBAN is acceptable)

Examples of acceptable official documents from the bank; Bank Statements, Bank Letter, Proof of Transfer, etc.

What happens if a deposit is sent from an account which is not linked?

If a top up/deposit is sent from an account which is not linked, the deposit will be rejected. The amount of time until the deposit is returned would be 3-5 business days.
